Mary Isobel Monteith (nee) Crossley died on April 30th, 2022. Mary was the daughter of Dr. E. L. Crossley and Hazel Saunders. A loving Mom to Nancy Monteith and Glyn Lloyd of Coldstream B.C. Jane and Steven Camacho of Bowmanville, ON and special friend to Meryl Gillmore. Devoted "Grand" to Greg (Kendra) , Brandon and Claire. Loving sister to Doris Milne, Carol Rogers and "adopted" sister to Charlotte Clark. Forever remembered by a myriad of nieces and nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews. She was predeceased by her husband of 52 years, George Monteith and her companion of 3 years, Ken Scott, her brother Kelvin Crossley (Betty) and brother-in-law Don Milne. Mary began her life in Princeton, ON and grew up in Fenwick, but spent her life in many different communities. She taught for 20 years at Herb Campbell P.S. in Peel County, before operating a store at Sauble Beach with her husband George. They then moved to Owen Sound where Mary lived until her death. Mary passed quickly and peacefully at Bowmanville Hospital at the age of 91 years, leaving a vast hole in our family circle.
