Medical Aid in Dying. Organizations working towards securing or protecting the rights of individuals to self-determination at the end of their lives. In June 2016, Canadian law accepted MAiD (Medical Aid in Dying and now allows eligible Canadian adults to request medical assistance in dying.

End-of-Life Decision-Making in Canada: The Report by the Royal Society of Canada Expert Panel on End-of-Life Decision-Making (2011) An extensive review of the issues around the right to die and assisted dying in Canada.
