My name is Elaine Andrews and I have been working with families at their end of life since 2017. I recently moved to the Niagara area to support my family, but I truly miss my various roles at St.Joseph’s Hospice in London and in the community. One thing I have learned and have continually witnessed is the abundance of love, support and appreciation at the end of life. It is an incredibly valuable time and I have been fortunate enough to witness this with hundreds of families. At Eirene, when we bring loved ones home, it is the same honour. Hearing stories of their life, their end of life care and those who supported them along the way. It truly is heartwarming and I absolutely love my role at Eirene. I’ve heard several times how people were initially nervous at accepting their loved ones but the visit from us, made this experience more peaceful. Our team at Eirene is filled with compassionate people who want to make your experience a little more gentle. From the first call you make at Eirene to when we bring your loved one home, you are guided and supported every step of the way.
