My story in death care starts in high school when I completed an aptitude test for one of my classes. The first result was mortician and as a 14-year-old girl, I didn't know what to make of it. However, it always stayed in the back of my mind and the more I went out into the community, the more I realized a career in death care would allow me to achieve my personal goals of helping people. When my workplace closed in 2015, I decided to finally take the leap. Leaving my family behind, I moved to Toronto to attend Humber College and obtained my funeral director's license in 2018.

I came across Eirene in 2023 and was delighted to find that they hold similar values as I do in regards to death care, the big ones being transparency, and honesty to families. Throughout my career, I have seen the face of death care changing and I am happy to be working for a company that is paving the way. Every family is on a healing journey after a loss and I look forward to bringing comfort to those families while working with Eirene.
